I have recently transferred my site to Digital Pacific from another host. The team at Digital Pacific have made the transition quick and smooth, promptly answering my questions, even on weekends.

Their plans are well priced, particularly considering the level of customer service they provide. I would recommend Digital Pacific to anyone who requires hosting.

I been with digital pacific for many years (around 5 years). There customer support are quite friendly and usually they answers all your questions. Their prices are quite reasonable. However, if we compare them with other hosting companies you might not like the fact that they don’t have 24 hours support even though they do via ticketing system but not phone support. I guess if they do then they have to increase their prices which I believe it might not be a great for many people especailly people who is starting the web devleopment world.

I believe digital pacific is great web host server for mainly small and mediuem size businesses but not large busiensses as you might sometime required an urgent support which they might not be avaliable. Their uptime is great. I rarely had any problems when I visited my site. They have been in the market for around 10 years and they been growing rapidly. They dont really try to rip you off as well which I like especailly this on them. They give numbers and facts and they let you choose.I recmmend you to go for it.

As a web designer, I require hosting for my clients websites. My business has been steadily growing to the point where I now have dozens of websites to host.

On searching for a decent reseller host, I came across Digital Pacific. Their plans are VERY well priced, as now I can host all my clients sites on a plan for just $60/month. And their web host manager allows me to manage them all with ease.

Their speeds are fast and I haven’t had any problem with downtime. Would definitely recommend Digital Pacific for individuals and other web masters.

I just recently moved my sites across to a Digital Pacific VPS and at this stage could not be happier. The prices are competitive and support has been really helpful.

Having moved to a VPS and not being overly experienced when it comes to server Administration I have found their phone support a lifeline in getting set up.

I have had my site up with ‘Digital Pacific’ for a little over a month and have had the following problems.
1) Server been unavailable 2 times for at least 6 hours at a time.
2) Cron setting automatically changed them self.
3) Unknown domain links to my site.
Each problem was solved but I believe it should never have happened in the first place.
My personal recommendation would be to sick clear of this company.

I would definitely recommend Digital Pacific to anyone who is considering signing up to one of their plans. The response time of their support is quicker than any other web host I have used in the past, and trust me I’ve been with a few. Everyone I have personally dealt with from Digital Pacific has been helpful and knowledgable. Couldn’t ask for more.

Poor service, constantly had issues with emails being delayed by 24-48 hours- not good when you’re running a fast-paced business.
My website was down for over 24 hours on a Sunday, when I called to enquire why on the Monday morning (as they’re not available on weekends when most of the problems usually occured) I sat on hold for 10 minutes and when the rep returned he stated my site had been hacked, I instantly refreshed my site and it had suddenly turned blue, his explanation was the ‘hack’ 24 hours ago. I think not. I have now removed my hosting from Digital Pacific and will not recommend it to anyone who wants to waste $150 a year on hosting when you can get far better hosting with better customer service for less than 1/3 of the price.

Hi,
I have been with Planet Domain for 8 years. They have been getting worse over recent years. Support is disgraceful. At the moment no one can access any webmail because there is an unidentified problem with the new servers. When they changed over to the new servers my site was down for 48 hours – and they offered me nothing when I asked for something off my annual charge! They are going to cut costs and get rid of their support 1300 number. I told them on the phone that when they change I am not going to pay the phone charge from Queensland. I am out! I pay $126 a year and in the last two or three days almost every month I run out of bandwidth. They shut the site down for this. What RATS they are!

Hi Ty,

I think you have us confused for another hosting company (Planet Domain as you stated), we do do have a 1300 number and have never had any plans to shut it down.

Well they lost my business before they even had it, because their phone support is only 9am to 6pm. How ridiculous. I rang up to switch my hosting over to them, but since they aren’t willing to provide support, I’ll be going elsewhere.

I have hosted 4 sites with digital pacific after making the switch from MD (now net registry) and all of these have been trouble free. Any issues i did have were dealth with quickly and even when problems were my fault they we sorted without a fuss.

Im actually in the process of moving a website currently hosted with spintel to these guys.

Have had a pretty disappointing experience with these guys over the last 3 weeks. Which is a shame because I have another 5 domains I was going to bring over to them.

Installed their 1 click install of wordpress and set up 2 pages on it.

Every time the site is loaded from a peroid of inactivity it takes between 9 to 13 seconds to get a response from the web server.

Have had 3 people from support tell me there was nothing wrong. Then when I provided statistics proving the issue it was supposedly escalated to higher tech support.

Higher tech support told me to install a plugin to convert the wordpress pages to static html. Obviously so they don’t have to look in to the actual problem.

Very poor support. Unbelievable really.
