I have been reseller of Enertica and extremely fed up with their level of service which does not seem to exist. If you are looking for a normal hosting and do not require support from them, then go for them as they have lower price than others. However, if you need any support or service, do not use them at all. The attitude of support people is just so poor and it takes at least 5 mintutes to get hold of anyone over then phone, if you are lucky. They are also notorious about getting back to customer who are there to pay them for their service. I have been very patient with them over last 2 years and finally decided to move on from them. Very bad bad service.
I agree wholeheartedly with the above comments – Enetica support staff are among, if not, the worst I have ever had to deal with. Their servers are reasonably stable, however, if something goes wrong and a server fails, the tone of support staff is as if you are wasting their time. There is _no_ notification of downtime, and obviously no redundancy. cPanel and the like do not just fail and I am shocked that updates/upgrade occur without any notification. Mind you, I have a reseller account with over 40 websites, so I am paying a premium and bringing much business than a single website.
I am disgusted with the flaky servers lately and will be actively moving providers. I recommend that you steer clear of Enetica.
I got so fed up with Enetica’s support staff that I tried to transfer my domain to godaddy. It’s been almost a week and I get no response from the support staff. Basically, the domain transfer is at the stage where the losing registra (enetica) has to confirm and authorise the transfer. They will not respond to my emails. I called them many times and the phone support staff member was rude and didn’t know what he was talking about. I’ve been using them for 2 years now and I’ve had enough. Avoid them like the plague.
Enetica would have to be the worst registrar I have ever dealt with. The overcharged me thousands of dollars, the didnt register all my requests, there support is pathetic, they took weeks to sort out my over billing. They can not send me a list of all my domains I own with them, and you have to login to individual domains, no single login for management like other companies. Stay away from these monkeys.
the lack of communication/support before/during and after a major upgrade has been astonishing. Just no acceptable – it really annoys me that we can have a 4.5 day email outage with no explanation.
Prior to this upgrade period, they had been good. Relatively stable and very minimal downtime.
If they dont improve their communication with their customers, i could not reccommend Enetica.
Enetica are appalling – do not use under any circumstances. I registered 3 domain names and opted for their hosting package; sold on what looked like a good website.
Their registration confirmation emails were blank requiring me to phone support and have them resent. I did not receive any confirmation for the hosting package so had to chase that up too. Links from their email and their own website did not work for their sitebuilder application. Again a call was required to support.
I have now wasted two days trying to get all my email accounts working and building my website. Their sitebuilder only part loads entered information, failing to upload company name, keywords and description! Then when you start editing the website via their application only the home page can be accessed via the web, despite sub-pages being displayed prior to editing.
Only good thing to say is that their support people answered my phone and email messages reasonably promptly.
I will be asking for a full refund.
